We're here where the daylight begins
The fog on the streetlight slowly thins
Water on water's the way
The safety of shoreline fading away
Sail your sea
Meet your storm
All I want is to be your harbor
The light in me
Will guide you home
All I want is to be your harbor
Fear is the brightest of signs
The shape of the boundary you leave behind
So sing all your questions to sleep
The answers are out there in the drowning deep
You've got a journey to make
There's your horizon to chase
So go far beyond where we stand
No matter the distance
I'm holding your hand

I free-fall through the air, with only you as my parachute.
Every wind caressing my ear whispers your very name.
The sunset evokes an image of your feminine form in soft amber light.
I see you then I don't, our lives twist and twirl like a romantic tornado.
You are the atmosphere which blankets and protects our life-filled planet.

You are a truth as fundamental as a smoothed rock.
Touching your hand, electricity strikes at the speed of light.
I am transfixed by your gaze, unable to pull from the celestial mechanics of your planetary gravity.
... And so I am a disembodied heart without you.
A distant location, a different moment, yet always there with you.
An undulating quantized wave of light/ destroys/creates / matter and energy, trough and crest/
we are the ocean and Mount Everest.

I come to you like iron to the magnet.
Your beauty radiates as uranium to the field.
Your smile shines golden on Summer's spreading trees.

Let us press freedom together.
In my dreams I call and you come without a word - Eric Gamalinda
Your love gave birth to Heaven and Earth
Without you, I am a planet without Life.
To the siege of your deadly charms I surrender my fortress of arms.
You make possible the lucidity of my dreams.
The immortality of your beauty is enshrined by the ephemerality of our meet.
You are the oasis in the desert that was my life before you.
You are the calm center at the eye of the storm.
You are a romantic nuclear fusion bomb: Immense desolation and overpowering love.
All the world's philosophies cannot comprehend the salient facet of your pretty face.
Another universe was born the day we first made love.
All the treasures unearthed cannot be worth more than you, my priceless.
Your smile makes me float in the sky.
How I wished I had an intimate awareness of your body.

How come I had to cross an archipelago only to find you in my heart?
Warm wings of excitement embrace me as you approach.
When God created Eve, He had in mind your feminine aspect.
In every pure landscape, the earth has imitated you - P. Neruda
On press freedom: I move to support your freedom to press against my body.
Be it in Baguio or Cebu, one thing I know to be true: All roads lead only to you.
All of history happened just so we could meet.
